Options? Too many options...

I'm looking for an amplifier that will power a single 15" Fi Q w/o BP option, roughly 1000w RMS handling.

My current amplifier is a Hifonics Bxi1606d, which is overrated a bit. But after hearing so many complaints about sound quality and power output of these amplifiers Ive been looking at different amplifiers, preferably ones which would easily fit under the seat.

So should I keep the Hifonics Bxi1606d or should I sell it and invest in any of the following.

Sundown SAE 1000D

Audioque 1200D

ED Nine.1(1200@1ohm)

Kicker ZX 1000.1

Or would the Hifonics Bxi1606d be enough of an amplifier for the time being?

I currently run a 1606d and it is the only amplifier I've ever used. I'm curious what others feel about it. Wish i could contribute, but today, i'm just here to observe.

id give it more then 1000w... my fi's are rated at 800w a pice and im giveing them about 1000 a pop and there's still hungry

Well, yeah, The Hifonics, overrated or not should output over 1000watts, somewhere in the 1200-1300 area.

i have a smaller hifonics (in my sig) and it sounds great only had it for a few days ,but nothing except good from it its what i expected from this brand
