Optima battery size question HELP!!!

i have a integra and the spot for the battery is small.. they reccomend the optima yellow top model D51R.... CCA 500 AMPS

MCA 625 AMPS

Reserve Capacity: 70 Minutes

this sucks because it only has top mounts and compared to:

yellow top model D34/78..

CCA 750 AMPS

MCA 870 AMPS

Reserve Capacity: 120 minutes

this battery is 2 inches wider but has better specs... i really want the d34/78 but i dont think it will fit...... what should i do,

i dont want to put it in the trunk.

just put the battery on its side and get the D34/78 it will work ive seen it many times.. thats wha i have to do wit my car and optima doesnt even recommend any size battery for my car.. just throw it in there or something.. you might have to do a few modifications but its worth it

from what i know the kinetik 1400 is the strongest battery in that size i even did a few tests on group 34 and smaller batteries. 1400 came out on top

If you don't want to downsize and get the 75/25 Optima I'd say get out the trusty Dremmel tool and chop up your battery tray to fit the bigger one.

Or get a bigger battery tray.

go on ebay, and look up a small stinger batt for your car.
