Opinions on Ultimate T3 500D?

i've got a camaro, and it's very limited on space if you wanna keep the back seats, and i do. i'm not looking to compete or anything, just want a good sounding system for it. it's my cruising car. open to recommendations but it will be a while before i get them though. got to get this stuff in and get some funds built back up.

I've been playing with the T3's for a couple of years now and as long as you keep the temp below 44-46 there pretty tuff. Besides I've got lots of them to play with.

Crap.

I think I screwed up.

If I run one 2Ohm DVC off one T3 500D, can I wire it so the sub has a 2 Ohm load?

If not, is it okay to run the amps at 1 Ohm as a daily driver?

Oh, well. Worst case scenario, I'm running 500W per sub. Not too bad, but still.

Sigh...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I ended up bridging both sides of one T3-1000d to do the pushing and another T3-1000d to do the pulling(as apposed to each T3-1000 doing push/pull duties).

Ran for 1/2 hour at 1/2 volume without the temps going up at all, ran a cool 34 degrees. Was able to run dual 1 ohm subwoofer systems at or near full power without cutting out. Estimate power at 3150w each at 1ohm. Thats 6300w with two T3-1000d's.

Now to get a set of dual voice coil twelves that get loud with 6300w apiece.

half way thru my install, waiting on the second amp. this amp is vicious, have the gain set all the way down and it still hammers these subs. running them at 4ohm for now. may change that once i start adjusting everything. these are some pics of what i have done so far. only thing i noticed on this amp is the gain dial is backwards. not a big deal for me but thought i would tell ya.

this is my first install of this kind, most everything i have ever done before has been in the trunk of a car where we didn't worry about running everything neat and clean and my first amp board too. pretty pleased with it, sure it could be better but works great for me.

finished it up today. the guy i bought the powerbass amp sent me a asa400.4 instead of the 600.4 but i'm gonna keep it. it works well enough for now and i'm tired of working on this. here are the pics....

Again: great-looking install. Clean! The mailman left a "we missed you" card, so I'll have to go to the post office this weekend and pick up the package.

Well, at least I know where it is!
