Opinions on this unit...

Well ive been thinking about getting rid of my Alpine 9815 and have been looking at a few head units. I am thinking about getting the Clarion DRZ9255 I know that this is an awesome unit but I dont know if its worth the $800 that it costs im just wondering what you guys thought of it. but im narrowed so far between Alpine 7998, Eclipse 8454/8455 and Alpine 7878 hehe

i would say clarion> your other picks, but then i would pick the eclipse. but you have the 800 bucks for the clarion i would look at the pioneer dex-p9

Well the only reason that we didnt go active was because my 9815 wouldnt support it.

I just went through the same purchase decisions. I ended up with the Eclipse CD8455 and I couldn't be happier.

Derick for your needs go with one of the Eclipses. Knowing your setup, I would say the 8445.
