well i liked my DXZ745 a lot better then my premier 860. the sq was better then the pioneer and i can only imagine the 945 would be just as good. i've also had eclipse 8443 and 5444, and the eclipse has better sq imo, the clarion is not far behind.

i have a 955 i like it better than my premier 860 also

The touch screen takes a little getting use to, the remote is a little too big imo, the manual is your friend in using / finding all the features, screen easy to read even in direct sunlight, not as many features as the 955 but has everything I need. Only thing I wish it had was a color screen other than the blueish one. I'm pleased...

what do u mean color screen other than blue?it has a red,blue,light blue,green,yellow color cnoices for the non moving backgrounds

I'm saying I wish it had a multi color screen like the 955MC or 855MP. The 945MP screen only comes in blue / white (blueish). Also Dolby Pro Logic brings a different listening experience to certain tracks, been messing around with it over the past weekend.

i havnt tried it with the 955 becaus ei thought u needed a center speaker...do you? and it splits the sub pre out with the center but i will try it and see
