opinions on my plan

Yes those....My interest is peaking to wanting to do some kind of set up in my 95 2 door Cutlass.
well i see no reason not to. its always fun to do different setups, even if its not permanent. not only that but youll have extra equipment for future installs. alot of people use 6 1/2's as substages. they work well. they wont be doing hair tricks for you any time soon (or maybe they will:eek:) but im sure if you put time and effort into whatever it is you want to do thats all that matters. have fun with it

Very True. I agree with you fully, its apart of this hobby.

I wanna do it, just trying to figure how, and where in my car.

four of them IB in the rear dash maybe?

I would love to, the one thing preventing me is...Im not sure If I wanna install a system in a 95. Much less the fact that theres not much I can do to it. I have a Kenwood DNX8120 Navi sitting in my closet BNIB that Im dying to install. I want a new car to do a big install in, but thats easier said than done, and my impatience is killing me haha.

yea same here. thats the exact reason i dont concern myself much on pretty wiring, fiberglass, or any big mods. im waiting for a better car to do it in. mine has over 200,000 miles on it, so it wont be long until its cooked im sure. and it would **** to blow my engine or ****** after i just spend so much time and effort on my audio

Yea i know exactly what you mean. I just hit 108k on mine. Thing is a money pit the 3 years Ive had it. And to get a Full system, Id have to dump even more money into it. I mean its bad enough as it is that it barely survives the cold weather.

we shoould start a money pool and buy a new car together and build a stereo. you get it for 6 months and i get it for 6 months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

anyone who can. post the biggest power handling sub 8 inches and under. my amp does 1400 rms at 4 ohms, but i'll probably run it at 8 ohms (if i can find the sub) for 750 watts. i really like the focal small subs, but they are way out of my price range.

how about something like this, but in the third door if you can fiberglass. i know you said not in the jumpseat, but you could probably pull something like this off with 1 or 2 8"s in the actual door like your wanting to do

or... how about a false floor, about 8" high in the front, 4-5" high in the back (because of the hump in the floor, i dont remember how tall it actually is) enough to fit a couple 8"s firing forward. that would still allow you to fold down the jump seat

you should also look into the sound splinter rl-i 8" subs. dont forget about other brands. i always make the mistake of jumping the gun and getting equipment that im used to seeing and being used, and never consider other options until after ive paid for something

i was looking. even considering the jl 8w7. focal polyglass 8. cdt (yeah right $$$$$). even the kicker l7 8. trying to find decent power handling.
