Opinions on L7 box?

Hi all, new here.

I went to a local shop to get a sub and they talked me into an L712 w/ a kicker amp for my civic.

I have been looking on here at some box builds, and the box they are wanting to sell me does not look like many of the ones I see you guys building.

This is what it looks like.

It is 24" wide, 15" deep, and 14" tall.

The sub mounts on the front right and the port is on the side (15"x14"wall) on the bottom back corner. The port is a 3.75"x3.75" square and a foot long.

Is the box good for a solobarik 12"?

I think it will costs $130.

If that box is a 130$$ I would build my own 3/4 mdf is like 26$ a sheet here

And carpet on ebay for 20$$ Thats how I built my box In my avatar. Check out my build

and you might get an idea
