Opinions on Audiopulse Axis??

My buddy is thinking about getting 2 15" Axis from a dealer for about $1100 for both. Now he will be running between 4-5k rms @ 2ohms, and has a 300 amp alt, and proper electrical. It will be going in a chevy silverdado ext cab. He doesn't want to wall if not nessecary. But he is looking to get loud as hell, like 150, and sound good doing it. Do you think that these subs will satisfy his needs. Willl he be disapointed, or are they a good buy and worth the cash. I told him to stick with some HDC3's but I just personally wouldn't want to fork out that much for subs. What do you think? What are some numbers people got with em?

They are excellent subwoofers and 2 15" Axis should be able to crack 150 dB in the right hands without too much trouble. The price is the detriment on these guys, though.

3hp motor, I believe Kyle said they changed the softparts so as to match the new power ratings they gave them

yeah I guess the soft parts are new, 10" spider, more excursion, sexy sub for sure. Anyone ever use them?
