Got .9cf... 10" ported Vs. 12" sealed.

hi there, I have .9cf of airspace to work with and 500rms

Should I go with a 10" ported or a 12" sealed.

Im looking for SQL and really like the low frequency notes.

I'd suggest going the sealed route. If you go the 10" route you're not going to end up with 0.9 cubes because the room that the port(s) and driver displace in addition to how much volume that any 10" will require is more-than-likely going to be bigger than 0.9 cubes overall.

with that space go sealed. I was in the same situation a few weeks ago.

Do a Phoenix Gold 10" Ported. They take very small ported enclosures. And they are perfect SQL subs.

I got a JL 1000/1 to work with, so its gonna be 2 subs...

Th enclosure is a stealthbox specially made for a ram quad cab, its .9cf per sub and it can have a 10"ported tuned to 36hz or something like that or a 12"sealed

Sounds good. A Phoenix Gold Rsdc will work good in that enclosure.
