FI BTL Fully loaded motor gap and top plate question...

Since is Almost imposible get in hold of Scott to get recones and subs I'm wondering if any of you guys have been trying to recone a BTL motor with RE MT Soft parts.

Pretty sure I saw a thread of a BTL Motor with MT Soft parts and the sub was working just perfect.

Actually yesterday I measure both motors/top plates and I don't see why not...

the btl has a much longer coil. if that means anything to you chris.

Yeah! I know that, Actually I have all the measures of both coils but even if the length of the BTL coil is more then the length of the MT doesn't mean that wont work. Both top places are almost the same length too...

It might work, but it won't work right. The coils are not centered in the same spot.
