opinions for tc9 build

Well I just picked up a tc9 motor 3/4 dual slugs. Also got a 18" basket with it. But im wondering if I should go with a different size. Looking like maybe team psi soft parts. But yea opinions on size and d1 or d2. I was thinking d2 but wonder if I decide to sell it maybe d1 would be better might be more interest then.

D2 is better...

D1 will give you a 2 wiring options 2 and .5 ohm loads...

D2 will give you 4 and 1 ohm loads...

great sounding motor. I love my tc sounds made tc-9. Ask psi on your options for recone. They can make softpart that can handle up to 1,5k watt daily

Yea I was going to build it up but now thinking maybe not. Hell I don't know what I'll do with it.

8layer alum flat wound and 2 stiff spiders for spl. a copper coil and 2 soft spiders for daily listening with low freq output.

dave has built many of thses i am sure, very common motor...

you can fit a d1,d2,d4 coil in that sub in 8 layer. the gap is fairly large..

I would go with a nice 12" in a solid ported enclosure . You can never go wrong!!!
