True, dumb ***** are allowed.

Negative. Half of all opinions are wrong.
Funny, i think the true dumbasses are those that allow this country to make up rediculous laws and pass them down to the pe-ons in the name of "safety." And true ignorance is following a law simply because its on the books, without asking WHY its on the books.

And an opinion is never wrong, you may think it is, but if it was then it would be a fact, not opinion.

Maybe unfair to you, the frequent pot-smoker who for some reason, likely stupidity, took the job that does random drug tests...
and how many jobs have you had that didnt drug test?

every job ive ever had drug tested.

every job my girlfriend has ever had drug tested.

****ing stanley steamer drug tests.

It isn't the violation of the first amendment. It is a "privately" owned establishment and the owner/management can run it how they see fit. Don't like it? Go elsewhere. Since it isn't government mandated that companies do a drug screen, I see no harm or foul if a company wishes to do so. They are minimizing there chance of getting that person who lets drugs override their lives and lets it affect work.
Bottom line to me is that companies should be free to run the companies the way they see fit, within reason. I hardly find drug screening to be in the confines of unreasonable.
WINNAR...

Ya..my job does random drug tests actually, however since i own and manage it i get to say when. I laugh at the fools who allow someone else to tell them what to do with their bodies.

NORML is doing its job in trying to represent us, but i cant tell NORML what to put on their priority list as being #1. all i can do is give cash donations participate in rally's and hope for the best.
Thats the **** part man, you can help to get a guy put in office, but who's to say he will do what he said he would once he's there (never happens).

Nothing more you can do but rally people and lobby, or try to raise candidates up from the grassroots to take office. Change will happen at the local level, much like Denver's legalization here. Sure Fed overrides that, but enough areas follow suit and it will change the Feds views. I think one day things will change in the favor of legalization...but before that happens we need some the old school thought 50+ old timers out of public offices.

Thats scary in itself too though..what would the world be like with a bunch of todays whiny generations in office //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

You don't know why it is legal and in the books?
Weed? Ya, it was a govt propaganda back in the....50s? They linked black crimes to marijuana and it was decided to be added to the illegal substance act (cant remember the actual name of it) and here it is 60 years later with idiots still following blindly.

Negative. They are two completely different topics.
Example:

I do not play with knives

I do play with TMNT's
yes racism and drug testing are two completely different topics...but what you posted can be applied to both of them. and 1 is ok to give free choice for employers for you and 1 isnt. i call it hypocritical
