online car audio scammers!

i ordered some come car audio equipment from dealercostcaraudio 3 months ago costing me over $1000 and about 6 weeks ago called it quits with them for a refund and this is after constantly harassing them bout what the hell is going on!

They never gave me an order number/transaction i.d nor did they give me a usps tracking number when they said it was "supposedly" shipped over 2 months ago!

Their answer was usps doesnt provide a tracking i.d/number which is utter rubbish as i have always recieved one from other online dealers and usps themselves later confirmed that and asked if i can get the usps transaction/order i.d off the dealer to find out if indeed it was sent out on that date and then dealercostcaraudio gave me an excuse that it was on back order and there was a mix up!! yeah right!!

So about 6 weeks ago demanded a refunded after constant harassment through emails/phone calls and they agreed and to this date they again "claim" the refund has processed successfully and still havent recieved a cent!

Now i have to file a dispute/fraud claim with my credit card company about the situation about these shonky dealers! I have never in my life heard of more excuses from dealers like these class acts! Anyone else dealt with these guys or know of any other actions that can be taken? I also know they deal under the name sonomaxaudio on ebay and they have a heap of negative feedback with people having the same issues. I just checked the ebay store and they have no items for sale, wonder why?

yeah thanks, i realise that but really want to know what else can be done or if anyone has had the same experience with these guys.

Just goes to show nothing beats face to face sales.

I remmeber trying to order an amp kit from them two years ago. After 4 weeks of bullshit, I gave up and ate $48 bucks.

most are in Cali so your close enough ...you can take care of them if they screw you over...this far out it would be hell ...to go out there and settle up face to face with them....
