One Sub Or Two?

what's up guys ? I have an 01 Durango and have a dilema ,the wife says dont fill up all the space so . do i go one 15 or two 12's . Also which would be deeper and louder on a daily set-up with a saz 1500. If possible some sub and box recommendations please.

How much space do want to leave/take up? Try to measure it

Realize two 12s will probably take around 5cubes of space, and a 15 around 4.

As long as you dont' mind that space, then get the two 12"s. More motor, more cone area= more volume.

IF im not mistaking.

If you want boomy then go for a single 15" with high wattage. If you want boom and decent SQ then go for 2 12". Atleast I think that is how it would be...not too sure lol. Pretty confident im right...

If your wife is talking about saving space then you for sure want to run a single 15. Remember you still have to mount the amp and maybe another battery in the back.

yes .I already have the amp Sundown saz 1500D and sub $ up to $500.Wife rarely rides it's my daily driver I commute 90 min. roundtrip and have to have my tunes.She just has to have an opinion.

You can do 2 12's in 4 cubes and take up the same space, but have more cone area. Plenty of subs that will work off 1500watts and sound good and get respectably loud.
