One 15 In A Grand AM = 150.7 @ 40hz!!!!!!!!!

everyone? lol... cmon now. Read through the thread and you'll see thats very far from true.
You dont "need" power in ANY format. It starts with a solid box design

Why didn't we meter on the dash? Because MECA is all that is around here, and its what he will probably be going to when/if he hits a show.

What would it do on the dash? I have no idea and its of no concern. Just like you could care less what your setup does at the headrest, while I had built my car specifically for it.

You do it on the dash, thats fine, but understand that I put it in the kick. Neither is better, only different.

easy there tiger! lol I havent read through all 60+ odd pages but when Loyd and I started that thread the standards were legal on the TL.... I never said one was better than the other, I was just saying it wasnt a valid comparision. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Im sure the setup is very loud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif (I have yet to meet any 150 that isnt loud.)

But Im also seeing a reflection on the surface of the OSB you used. I've never seen OSB with a reflection before, which is why I was curious about it.

About termlab legal metering; of course it boils down to solid box design, but when the guy next to one has just as solid a box and 2x the power, one is going to loose. And legal metering yields the least gains from changing the interiors orientation and the least from box changes with repsect to open door/window setups doing similar changes.

any woofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
the type R just works oh so well, for oh so little $.
sooo, if the dude in the grand am were to get a real woofer, and some real power (3000+) he would be doing 153's++..............mmmmmmmmmm

:growl: haha

You can clearly see which sides are and aren't resined.

Its also not OSB, already been through that in the thread lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

was this post to push my buttons? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

My post definitely didn't infer that.

And if you want to know the truth, the woofer he has is very capable... it handles just fine. he might be doing a 153+ now, we dont know... havent done any fiddling.

so send him some powa already!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

The woof loves power, I havent been able to max it out on a burp... but honestly the most I've sent to it was 2000. It'll run bassrace and only get moderately stinky with that power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

3kw in his setup... he'd make plenty of SUV's cry. @ that note, he already is! Should put up a killer driveby score too.

you are determined to hop in every thread and start BS.
not taking sides on this because you both seem to have agendas, but you did notice the weight difference right? partsexpress claims 5lbs per port on shipping when madisound claims 1.056 which is alot closer to actual weight so shipping is way off on pe and will make a big difference on 4 ports.

This thread has actually made me look at 2 15's at .5 ohms powered by either a lanzer opti2000d or an Orion 2500d. I'm just wondering how loud you think i could get in my suburban, I don't have the 3rd row of seats so their is lots of room in here for a box. Also I have a 200 amp alt in my garage waiting.
