Refurbished car audio??

I was wondering if you think its the same to get a refurbished indash like a pioneer avic-n1? Doesnt it come from pioneer factory back to brand new? Are they scratched or used? Why would a pioneer avic-n1 be refurb? There are so many on ebay, what was the problem with them and how did those sellers get alot of them? If they carry a warranty, how can you go wrong with a refurb indash?

depends who the warranty is through. In most cases you have to send it back to that specific company, to have it repaired, and they in turn send them back to pioneer. You pretty much cant even tell pioneer that it was purchased from a non auth dealer or your gonna pay for the repair.

And you have to figure it could have been refurbed for a scratch on the face or chewing up someones barry manilow dvds, no telling, sometimes it isnt worth the risk. for something over 350 to me it isnt worth it.

bought a refurb cd player saved a lot of cash and it works great. never had a problem.

I 2nd that.. & The AVIC N1 kicks the N2's azz

And add they tend to sproos it up so it looks like new..

I worked at a place that did lots of repairs they always swapped out the scrached face for a clean one..

Hmm, thats good. The funny thing is tha avic-n2 is the same price as avic-n1. And the alpine cva-d310 is also the same price but that is brand new. Ahh its so hard to decide.
