You dont "need" power in ANY format. It starts with a solid box design

Why didn't we meter on the dash? Because MECA is all that is around here, and its what he will probably be going to when/if he hits a show.

What would it do on the dash? I have no idea and its of no concern. Just like you could care less what your setup does at the headrest, while I had built my car specifically for it.

You do it on the dash, thats fine, but understand that I put it in the kick. Neither is better, only different.

I call it big particle particle board. Its labeled as P-board, but it doesnt look like the normal stuff. The normal stuff is pretty much a less dense MDF. The stuff I use is actually stiffer, while at the same time being more brittle. You can bend MDF, but you cant bend what I use. Outside of avoiding the flaming on here everytime someone sees the wood, there is just no reason for me to use MDF.

yeah im interested lol i own a sunfire not too far from the basic design of a grand am and any way i can find to make it louder is good info for me. The wood looks fine to me because isn't spl only about the numbers who cares what was used to put it together jsut aslong as it hits 150+

You should grab up a box, easy way to get past a 50 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif . Single 15 is definitely the way to go in a trunk.
