One 15 In A Grand AM = 150.7 @ 40hz!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to know who is doing 150+ in a lumina on music with one 12... and who made him the box for 150. Lets also ask, was it a local build or shipped? How about a vid of it? How about some shred of evidence? Not everyone rolls around with a 150+ setup... very few do it with one 12... and in a "basic" box in the trunk of a lumina 150+ isn't happening. I've worked with the vehicle, and its not exactly easy to get loud.
Is it indirectly advertising my product? Sure... but I'm not advertising any more than when someone with any piece of equipment pops on here with a vid. If you don't want to watch the vid.. damit, DON'T WATCH THE VID! Some people enjoy watching vids like this, I definitely do. I'm contributing to the community, helping make CA.com what it is.

Well it was a local builder and it was done with 1 pioneer sub. I will have to wave him down so I can prove a point and be like hey man I have to get a video to prove that your box and sub does this. Oh we have to do it at the shop and put it on the TL as well. I mean this guy just wont believe me if I dont have the proof.

I mean get real buddy. I dont have a video camera on me at all times of the day and nite. I know what I saw and heard for that matter. Yes you have the proof with video and all as I have what I seen live at a local shop. God for bid someone actully do a 150 musically on the TL. What do you feel like your boxes are in jeapordy or something. Dont worry man he dosent need a quick buck. He charges 150 and sometimes a little more for a box depending on what kind of car you have and how big he has to go. I will be having him building my box when I decide to get my 12IDMaxv3's. I might even have him do one for the r's just to prove a point. Cause I know that if he can build this ported box for 1 pioneer sub, then I cant wait to see what the 2 r's can do. Then again I dont need to get a hard on like you do when you hit over 150. But I was impressed with his setup compared to my cutty that hit 153 on the tl. I had 4 of the 9500's. I would of really impressed people with a 1 sub setup that was over 150. So I give mad props to anyone who can do that.

But really man, get over yourself. So you build good boxes and charge and arm and a leg. Just my 2 cents!

Also you can tell me till you are blue in the face that you only put videos on here becasue you like it and so do others. I admit I do like videos. But someone putting as many videos on here and talking about your boxes like nothing else matters or compares is too me a marketing stratgey. I have been in the audio field to know better. Like I said when I had my box for my cutty done it was built inside the car and alot and mean alot of customizing went into it. I only paid 200 bucks for that. That was for 4 of the 9500's as well. I spent over 5gs in it and pulled some good numbers and had some fun. Then it got stolen.

150 for a local build... as an FYI thats how much this box was, since it wasn't carpeted and the customer supplied the ports. Now start shipping those boxes... and using precision ports... cost goes up a little eh?

Dude I am not selling boxes on this site. I dont have anything to prove. Your just pissed becasue someone else can make a box slam. So dont get your panties in a bunch. I will try and track him down one day when I am not working, taking care of my house and my family.

For me the questions/comments come from being curious... I don't know mark or his product.

For 06 I am planning to go big, and I'd like to know your opinions on what you think, you can feel free to respond in a pm if you like. But I was going 6 15's (kicker L7's new series) and 3 viper 2500's..

Obviously one of your boxes will not work in this application, so what are my options? Is it about the design of the box? I have several people here that know how to build boxes so that wont be an issue (boomnblzr being one person)

Would you suggest less subs and amps to acheive my goals? (which my goals btw is LOUD daily with plans on bass race) I mean after all if I can do 2 or 4 15's and 1 less amp to get into the 150's I'd be a fool not to at LEAST get more info..

My only thing is do NOT mention type R's, (cause I already have 4 of the L7 15's) they are not an option... other than that your feedback is appreciated, (as the feedback of others on here as well)

If your in anything short of a van, you wont have any port area left with 6 15's.

You have to leave room to fiddle with the design... if you stuff all that cone in there, your stuck with only a few methods.

As far as a low tune goes, I've always had best results (outside of very specific applications/my finals box) just firing a loud street box into a wall shell.

Btw, if you want an easy 155+... 2 of your 15's in 2 of my boxes firing into a properly designed shell.

Your amp is the last thing you decide. You come up with the best and most effeciant design with the most cone area you can fit properly... and then throw as much power as you can at it. This of course negates any "class", since you'll just be goin for broke.

2 dual 2's can be wired to .5ohm so orion 2500d and powerbass xa-3000d are both great choices
