I should be able to test a 20.1 sometime this season. I don't think it would be comparable to the 2500d... but you also have to consider the 20.1 comes with a full warranty at that price.
The 2500d can be had for cheaper, with a warranty, but you have to know where to go.

If you dont care about a warranty and know how to use the 2500d... the refurbs and random ebay deals available are CRAZY for such a powerful and effeciant amp.
You don't think a 20.1 would be comparable to a 2500d? Why not?

send us one and prove us otherwise. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Wow I am a bit slow... finally found this thread.....

When I first met Mark he was doing the conventional stuff... like 2 15" Strokers in a wall and also traditional trunk enclosures. I remember sitting in his Monte Carlo with two POS MA Audio 8" subs in an early TCAB box. Man oh man those suckers wanged! I could not understand his concept of the wall he used at finals until I saw it myself. It made perfect sense. I sat in it. It was fu
Mark does well at what he does. He does things different from everyone else, so everyone needs to criticize. Yes when you think about it the actual box designs are rediculously simple. On the other hand once you understand WHAT HE IS DOING DIFFERENT you will wonder why people still use traditional ported enclosures; they just make no sense to use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

And this is coming from a RE fanboy of 4 years....

OK I'll put it in layman's terms....

Over time his enclosure evolved into what it is today. He kept making modifications inside the enclosure and where to place the woofer and port on the box and how to aim the woofer and port in various vehicles. If he let the cat out of the bag what entices the pospective customer to order from him instead of designing/building it on his/her own?

If he were just making a few boxes here and there on the side I guess it would matter less to him if he gave out his secrets. However if his livelyhood depended on him desgning/building/selling his design that he has spent COUNTLESS hours perfecting, why should he just give it away?

I love eating pasta at Itallian restaurants. I like it so much because it tastes soooooo much better than using the crap sauce that comes in the jar at the local grocer.

Let's say I went to my local Olive Garden restaurant and liked the meat sauce in my spaghetti. I figured I could save money by making it on my own, but it would taste like arse. I could ask the manager for the recipie of the meat sauce. I stand no chance in getting the recipie. The manager wants me to keep coming back and keep my business.

Does that make sense?
