I have an Autotek MX-1300 and its not 1 ohm MONO stable. I have 2 MA Audio XL 12" DVCs and im trying to get the most out of the sub/amp. My question is, whats the lowest i can run it without blowing my amp up and how do i wire it?

1 ohm stereo?

2 ohm mono?

I have an Autotek MX-1300 (stats below)

Hrmm, should I ditch the 2 MA Audio 12" XLs and go for like, say, a DD 9512 in like a 2.7 cu ft box? If not a DD, could I get a few other opinions?

I have 1600 x 1 @ 2 ohm mono RMS available to push.

Run a series/parallel setup for a 4ohm final load. Run the amp at 4ohm mono for roughly 600w rms per driver. As far as DD goes, if you join club dd you can get pretty good direct prices. I have a shameless plus though, I have the Elemental Design E12a which is built at the same build house as the DD's are. Its somewhat similiar to the DD 3515, just doesnt handle quite as much power, its good up to 800w rms. And they are dual 4ohm coils, may not be for you, but im selling them for $250 plus shipping if they are. email jlguy141@hotmail.com
