Old Clarion deck

I just got a new vx hatchback, with a old *** Clarion head unit in it. It has a 4v preamp output, which I can tell a decent difference from my old alpine, even though my alpine was louder than my newer explod that I sold a year ago. Seems like the older the head unit the better it sounds:fro:

I havent used any new Clarions lately, but 8-10 years ago they, Alpine, and Eclipse made some of the best decks on the market. I still have an old Clarion drx9375r as my backup deck, it sounds very very good and the anti-skip tech is exceptional.

Don't leave me hanging, what model is it? I'm a Clarion collector BTW. You say old as$, 4V, so..... DRX9375r/7375, DRX9575Rz, HX-D10 (though I wouldn't consider this one old). Pre DRX9375r the decks weren't 4V. So you're looking at '97 and newer.
