i see that they have extended freq response, but not much on the low end. i understand that the paper they use is probably extremely light weight and im sure it has a certain amount of strength, but i still don't see them being worth $1250 for just a mid range, if im going to pay that i can get the crossover mid-range and tweeter from focal (k2) series cheaper.

these arn't for cars. It drops off at 70hz with out an enclosure, which is where the horn comes in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Focal k2's are garbage I know I owned them, Utopia or nothing.

I also never tried to pass them off as car speakers and said multiple times they weren't. There is plenty of **** on this website that isn't car audio, plenty in the same section as well.

Should have posted in the home audio section. You only said they weren't for cars once, not multiple times.
