I recently picked up an old 89 Chevy K1500 Cheyenne that is SUPER CLEAN. Well, atleast clean for what it is! Its only got 118,00 on it and I'm starting to love the old girl. I already have an older Pioneer HU, so I'm not really looking to upgrade that. The speakers are old and blown. The dash houses 4x6's and the same is in the rear. There wont be anything in he rear when I am finished though! I was thinking a set of ID 4x6's in the dash like these WoofersEtc.com - CTX46 - Image Dynamics 4 x 6" 2 Way Speakers w/ Silk Tweeters and this loaded 10" Kicker box Kicker TC10 10-Inch 300W Loaded Subwoofer with Enclosure Box : 10TC104 : $87.95 : VMInnovations.com powered by a MB Quart 4 channel like this MB Quart FX4.70 280W 4 Channel Amplifier : FX470 : $115.95 : VMInnovations.com. Does this sound like a good idea? I know I can get do alot better than the 4x6's and some BS loaded sub box. But can I do much better for the money? I'm not looking to compete or win any shows with the old work truck. But I also dont want to cut up the interior or lose any leg (or belly) room in the old regular cab truck.
