Ok to break my sub in using a house receiver?

there's no such thing as a "proper break in", but you could hook it up to your home receiver.

just feed it whatever power it can take. time will loosen it up, regardless if you feed it 500 watts or 1500 watts

Thanks. the reason i said i wanted to break in properly is because last time i didnt break it in long enough. If i let it sit and play by itself for a few hours in the house I wont be as anxious to crank it up as opposed to sitting in the truck. Lol
