No problem. They would all suit your needs to be honest. I tend to stay away from the Fosgate Prime stuff. It's pretty bad. The higher end Fosgate is pretty nice though. And by the way I like the 7500's. Had a set of the new ones for a while in the wife's minivan. They were 10's but got down pretty good. You might want to look in the classifieds as well. I know there's a Kicker 750.1 for 200 obo. They're always rated at well over 900 @ 2 and really good amps. You might wanna try to get him down to about 160 or so.

And @ op, I think either amp you've narrowed down to would be a fine choice really. If you're getting them for the same price, I'd lean more towards cosmetics, because they're both excellent amps. I think most Kicker amps are hideous so I'd go for Boston Plus it looks very well built, I like their engineering... though, I find their pair of 4 gauge power and ground terminals rather strange, rather than just doing a single 1/0 for each or something... a run of 4 gauge should be adequate anyways unless they're terrible inefficient.
