Ok got a Sledge hammer box with 2 thunder 7500 woofers single 4 ohms each

I want sq going to installed on a (Chevy tahoe)

Please help me decide on the amp these are my options

Jl audio jx1000\1d

polk audio pad1000.1

Fosgate R1200-1d

Alpine Mrp-m1000

boston Acustic Gta-1000/1

Or any suggestions will be welcome

your sub amp has very little to do with the sq of your system.. while it does play a role the subs you choose will make the major difference..

the hammers prolly came in a box built for them from factory......wouldn't be worth it to change. Pick any amp that will push them with a lil headroom.

What you want is anything that will run 1000 watts at a 2 ohm load.

No problem. They would all suit your needs to be honest. I tend to stay away from the Fosgate Prime stuff. It's pretty bad. The higher end Fosgate is pretty nice though. And by the way I like the 7500's. Had a set of the new ones for a while in the wife's minivan. They were 10's but got down pretty good. You might want to look in the classifieds as well. I know there's a Kicker 750.1 for 200 obo. They're always rated at well over 900 @ 2 and really good amps. You might wanna try to get him down to about 160 or so.
