I went synthetic on my new car. Mobil 1 always. I usually change it about every 5k now.

Also, Autozone had a killer deal a few months ago.... $25 Mobil 1 oil change FTW! 5 quarts and a filter. I spent $100 and picked up 4 of them.

Any good mechanic will tell you that switching to synthetic on a high mileage engine is a no-no.

Switching over under 50k is fine.

i use royal purple. no performance added to my car or anything. i don't race with my car or push the engine tooooo hard or ever red line it. i just use it cause it's said to be one of the best. oil change for me after oil and filters about 25-30 bucks. i know the car doesn't need the expensive oil but i just like it cause i know it's taking care of my shit.

I honestly suggest changing the ferrofluid in your tweeters every 20,000khz

my truck takes 15qts, sit there all day to get it in there.

For the standard oil change when I had my car and the gasser truck before that I always used Valvoline and wix filters.
