see i have two RF P3 12's and i'd like to upgrade. I want better SQ, but i don't want to lose loudness.

what are you planning on upgrading to? you can get 2 different 12s that are better than those RF i'm sure, though i have no exp with RF subs

rf subs get decently loud. although the only ones ive ever heard were p1 12's on 500 watts and a t2 15 on 1500. i would go with two 12's personally

FYI the Sundown SA's will dominate the P3's in "loudness".

personally doubt that, due to the fact the enclosure is everything and on the same power. we dont know if he has a sealed box, pre fab ect.

ported box.. subs firing up, port up. if i were to go with a 15 though obviously i would make a new box, probably firing up & port back

i was thinking some sundown sa12's, but then i figured why go through all the trouble just for subs that are rated at only 100 watts more each?

the E-12's would be about the best choice on 550w ea. And spend the $160 difference on a good custom box that will make them even louder. Sub/port placement is crucial for the final outcome though.
