[Question] SA-8 v2 + American Bass 80.1 in .6ft^3@38Hz

I plan on putting an American bass 80.1 @ 1ohm through this speaker. Is an 80.1 @ 1ohm going to play nice with this speaker as a daily driver?

Going into a .6 ft^3 @38Hz box. Almost it's bare minimum size for 1 speaker after displacement.

Also is this speaker the best choice. I need something small. Can barely fit a 10" with the box in my Lincoln Mark 8. Trunk space is half the size, height wise, than you would think.

Budget, at this point is 700$ I plan on only one speaker and one amp. I'd rather over power than under power. I know the 80.1 is more than the speaker, speaker box and cables price wise. So for the second question; Is this amp the best choice? Should I look at something lower end or stick with the 80.1 which AB says is rated at 1000 watts RMS @ 1ohm which is what the speakers will be set at.

should be a good fit if the gains are set right.i'm doing 2 of them under my rear seat of my z71 on a ab 500.1 at 2 ohm daily

500.1 @ 2 ohm. That is what 2650 watts @14v? Guess these little guys can take a pounding.

Next I'll have to replace all the stock amps. Counted 3 of them in this car without a sub amp. I think there is 2 2-ch amps and 1 4ch amp. Controlling the front, back, and 4 massively oversize stock tweeters.

Well, hmm. I'd like my AB 1511 COMPS back. They were stolen out of my comp vehicle 2 weeks before my first(ever) show. After that I never got into it. To bad they wouldn't fit in this Lincoln.

Now I haven't bought any of the stuff I mentioned above. Don't have the cables, don't have the box, speaker, or the AMP yet. I plan on buying them very soon. Almost burning a hole in my pocket feeling. If you carry any of these items, let me know. I'd rather buy the items off a private vendor, supporting private business, than support a major company.

Right now I have to buy each part from a different website.

The box, which I really don't want but don't have the tools to build my own, is coming from some random website...I'd rather get a .75 @36Hz ported box but we'll see.

The Speaker is coming from db-r. The only website on the Sundown website which led to an easy to navigate website. (The others were...yeah)

The AB 80.1 Amp and the Cables (which I thought Internet sales were prohibited by AB. Perhaps AB just doesn't sell them directly, which is odd) are coming from carstereogiant

None of which have shipping options...

Well there we go. Sounds like what I will be doing. How do we get this started?

1x SA-8 v2 DVC 2Ohm

1x AB VFL 80.1

1x Box

The money will clear at the start of next week. So that is around the time that I will be making the purchases. However I can pick up a few things now. Either the Amp or the Speaker will have to wait till next week.

Ok the amp I can get faster the sub takes a couple of weeks to build and ship. The box a few days. I need measurements for the box area how big you want it and tuning Ill pm you prices for box amp and sub

Not sure what you mean by "sub takes a couple of weeks to build". If the speaker is going to be trouble I can get the speaker elsewhere.
