I couldn't be happier. I knew with the talent at USC he was destined to succeed but now things look a little different. Hopefully some of their juniors and seniors transfer as they get a no-punishment transfer if they choose to do so. Add in the loss of 10 scholarships per year and now it looks like he is destined for failure. Especially now that it looks like Texas and Oklahoma (among other Big12 teams) are stepping into their recruiting ground.

Bad vibes follow that dude.

The mountain west will likely begin recieving an automatic bid in 2012. That seems fine, Utah, Tcu and now Boise St among others have been solid programs...The pac10 looks to become very strong, but i STILL dont think that an Oregon/Texas confernce title game would carry the pizazz that a Florida/Lsu/bama title game would. I also dont think the big 10 gains alot from a Neb/Oh St title game...we shall see

The way things are going right now, there may not be a Mountain West conference in 2012. Some conferences are looking to expand and the news that the Big 12's remaining teams will stay together means those parties will be looking elsewhere. MW has a few teams that are very interesting. The Pac-10 needs a team as we speak, as does the Big 10.

Looks like the Pac-10 got their 12th team and my prediction was right. They now will have a conference championship game.

Utah Pac-10 bound!

Houston pushes for Big 12

I also heard a rumor that the Vols recruiting coordinator Lance Thompson, contacted some USC players recently to see their position about transferring. That didn't sit well with the Kiffin's. (Kiffin hired Thompson away from Alabama while at UT)

Utah is a great program at the level they were. Will be interesting to see how well they play against better competition. I still expect them to be in the top half of the Pac 10. I dont forsee any elite teams in the Pac 10 this year anyway.
