The only thing that's different from the standard mod is your longer alt to battery positive cable.

most likely the car battery. Some cars just have their battery in the trunk.

No fuse needed between ALT and BAT+POS,but if you feel you need oneget the largest you can find

Can you elaborate? I haven't bought a fuse holder for my big 3 yet, and I was hoping not to have to. I'd rather spend $20 on a fuse holder than have my battery explode, though.

If its any help, there's about a 2-2.5 ft. space between my alt and battery.

What's not to understand? You need to add to the stock wire that leads from the engine block to the chassis.

Anyone ever had luck at asking an auto shop to do the Big 3 for them? (that is if you thoroughly explained what you wanted done) and about how much did they charge?

Also... anyone wanna trade maybe 20ft of 0awg for 4awg? I hate how unmanageable my wire is.. its to thick for a noob to be trying to maneuver under the hood

It wouldn't be worth it to pay a shop to do the big 3. It is the easiest upgrade you'll ever do.

It shouldn't take more than 10 ft of wire, but definitely do it with 1/0 awg.

yeaa but 0/1 awg is so hard to bend.. at least the knukonceptz stuff ive got is..

If you're having problems bending it (you shouldn't have to bend it too much unless your engine is really cramped), then you need to get the flexible kind.

Try http://www.weldingsupply.com - they have "superflex" or something. I've never used it, but it should be better than what you got now.
