Now, what should I do? I got my factory amp visible.. bypass it or what? *PICS*

Just a 12V power supply that you could use outside of your Explorer.

Something you could hook your headunit to, and then hook a speaker to, to check the headunits internal amp. If everything else is hooked up properly, then you mentioned maybe something was wrong with the headunit; this would answer that question.

Also, I'm not sure if your unit has it or not, but some headunits have the ability to turn off the internal amp. I would think if this has been done, nothing would power your speakers.

Check your owner's manual.

UPDATE!!

I realized that I have been trying to get the sound to work by playing my ipod..

This morning a thought came to me that maybe ipod is not working right so I decided to pop in a CD and it works!!!

I am so glad that it works.. Now I know for sure it is the ipod!!

I m gonna head over to avic411 forums to see if i can get my problem answered

so, now you got sound from the speakers, whats the other problem?
i dont have other problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Actually I am lying- lol well it is working good now but seems like there is a problem with the iPod connection since the HU is reading the ipod just fine but is not giving out any sound..

while if i put it into cd mode, it would work with no problem.. I am positive it is the ipod or the cable, I am gonna recheck those also

(No help here) ... But I always think that, too ... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
haha yeah but seriously I think I can pull it off today since I got the speakers up and running.. it was the only reason I didnt install my sub yesterday

i just got the ipod to work! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

now I am gonna just put everything back in place (panels and trim pieces)

then I should be off to installing amp and sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif or the battery

Did you say wirenuts and electrical tape?

Why the **** are you using stuff meant for inside your houses?

You are not done until you get rid of the wire nuts and don't use electrical tape hoping it will hold.

what should I use?

and that is all I have for now lol I can change later.

I wanted crimp caps, but there wasnt any at my local hardware store so I just went ahead with the nuts..

I might go another hardware store later today then get the caps if that is a better idea?
