Now finally I have access to my factory amp after hacking down so much stuff to gain access to the amp..

At this point I am not sure what to do? I need more info or advice..

My problem was that I could not get any sound coming out of my door speakers even when I wired everything up correctly.. I even tried to connect the factory amp, it would not work.. So some thought maybe it is because of the speakers' wire are ran thru the factory amp as well so maybe I have to bypass it.. or whatever.. So I guess I need to bypass it or whatever I m supposed to do.. I am really dumbfounded now, not sure what to do at all.. It is my first time dealing with factory sub/amp as well..

Right now all I see is 4 wires attached to an adapter that is plugged into the amp.. all 4 wires are white wires but 2 of them got purple stripe and another 2 got blue stripe.. pics provided below

what should I do?

also there is another adapter plug in the bottom of the amp.. shown in the pixs

Help would be very much appreciated, I think after I solve this issue, I should be able to finish up my system tonight!!

I m sorry if I was not clear..

I had problems with no sound coming out of speakers when I installed my Pioneer Avic F900BT, I was told that maybe I should bypass the amp so that way the speakers would work..

Most said I got to have the amp visible then I should have some answers to my problem

sorry about not being clear at first place

EDIT: OP has been edited with a description of my problem

wanna see more of my build log? help me now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Either run new wires to each door speaker to literally bypass the factory setup.

Or

Get an amp bypass thingamajig from a stereo shop.

Or

Figure out how to use the factory amp with the new deck.

I'd do 2, 1, 3.

I am not really up for tearing the doors apart to install wires also I dont know how to run the wires thru the dash into the door grommet..

I just want to bypass the amp and call it a day until I get a component set

is there something that will help me bypass the amp?

i have to buy it?

I thought I would be able to wire it up myself to bypass it?

Meh. Odds are the amp remote is somewhere in your factory harness that you can tap into. I got mine to work easily. ('98 Ford Mustang.)

I suppose it would be on the harness.. I even hooked the remote wire from the HU to the factory's remote wire.. nothing worked

But I dont think it is a good idea to hook up the amp because then the sub would be playing, I dont want it to be working when I have my Omega installed in the back

Take it to a shop.
