Not getting loud!!!!

two L7s hooked up to a power acoustik 3000db wires to 2 ohm....im not sure why but she isnt getting loud...they hit kinda hard and they play....but nothing like i thought they would....the rubber on the subs arent even moving the way they should....why could this be? ive got 2 gauge wire...the rca is coming from the head unit cause i havnt put the EQ in yet....it might be put into the front or rear output instead of sub though....not sure, cause i didnt plug that in. you think that could be it? does it matter?

ummm...i dont think there is a sub level...you are just able to turn the sub on or off... but i hooked that same rca to my amp for my mids and they played fine....nice and loud...and when i put the bass remote on the amp is was a bit better....but not much

sounds like ur wired out of phase, check the +/- connections on the subs make sure they are the same on both subs and u have them hooked to the amp the right way.

ok cool....when i wire voice coil 1 on the subs together and then run the + and - out of each sub....can i put both of them into the output of the amp? will it still run on 2 ohm?

Those are DVC, right?

Check polarities.

Also post your amp settings.

2300 watts rms at 2 ohm

unfortunately, it doesn't do 2300 watts @ 2 ohm.... it barely does it @ 1 ohm....

that could be a problem. check just in case. are they hitting the low notes?

but still those l7s should be getting loud off of even 1500 watts...they should be moving off of the power hes giving them.. somethings not wired right..check ur wiring.

what are your subs then a pair of dual 2 ohms?

i found the sub level....it goes up to 15 and it was at 0.....maybe that was y....it hits alot harder and is alot louder now....i put it at 8....should that be good?

and the amp specs says 1800 at 2 ohm....my bad...i was looking at 1 ohm

put the sub level at 15. This is needed to get the 4 volt subout on all alpines.
