Not getting loud!!!!

You aboviously don't know what you are doing for a few reasons. That PA amp would blouw any lighting audio amp out of the water. That amp could have been fried or you wired your subs out of phase or something stupid.

Ya wanna buy it from me??

ok from my experiance with alpine and setting up subs the right way with multimeter,

The reason you set the alpine sub volume at +15 is because that is 0db's. That is set that way for when you play your 45-50 hz. test tone generated at 0db's set your gains accordingly and then turn the sub volume down.

I have a power acoustic amp says it does 2400 at 2ohm. I had two eclipse subs that do 300 max each. Put it this way I could BARLY hear them. So I bought a USED lightning audio amp(finally fried). Boy what a diffrence. I thinnk PA SUCKS, PA lovers dont jump on my cas because you think I have no experience, b/c I DO. Not just my amp but 2 other systems brands new in other cars. Get rid of yur amp!! PA is short for PyrAmid.
you obviously are very ignorant. Power Acoustic owns SoundStream, one of the top competitors in Car Audio Competition. Ranking down Power Acoustik to a say Pyramid, Pyle, or volfenhag. Chances are, you didn't even wire the amp correctly. or even set the gains correclty. None the less, your ignorant.

so if i put the rca into the rear output on the HU and put that into my clarion EQ and run the sub out from that would that work better? then i wont have to worry with the sub output level....

that may be so but try setting your gains properly please. I don;tknow what the voltage needs to be set on your amp but for the 2400DB series it's about 42 volts. Dave should know what the Gains output should be for your 3000DB. You can try the Equilizer but why are you setting your RCA's for the rear output? You wanna put it so it recieves the fronts, not the rear. Unless you have 2 y-cables but i don;t think mixing 2 frequencies is a good idead That may be your problem, just an educated guess.

i dont have anything to check the volts with....so i have the gain on the amp set at about half....and the bass boost on the amp at a lil less than half...not the remote...the one on the amp itself...should that be ok?

and i wanted to do the rear because the EQ has an output for my rear mids that has a seperate amp and a seperate output for my sub amp with a built in cross over....and i can ajust boith of them seperate...the EQ is a clarion EQS744....make any sence what im doing?

Ok to help the guy out. I wish I would have noticed this thread a long time ago. With the Kicker Solo Barics. It takes about a good week for your subs to break in. The surrounding on the subs are very very stiff. Give it a week or two and you will gain punchyness and loudness. Take it from someone who has owned a few 2003 and 2005 models.

yeah breaking in subs is also a good rule. I notice the surrounds on my MOFO as well is beginning to soften (w00t!) You'll need a DMM (Digital Multi Meter) you can get a very cheap one from radioshack and it'll do the job. Make sure it's the Digital and not the ANALOG!

TURN BASS BOOST OFF!

HAVE GAINS AT 0 BEFORE YOU SET TEH GAINS

HEAD UNIT AT OPTIMAL VOLUME YOU ARE WILLING TO LISTEN TO

USE A 50HZ TONE
