Whats the difference between spl and sq i know spl is sound pressure level but sq whats sq is it when the radio is almost at max and the sub does not get distorted? means it has good sq?

SQ = sound quality, something that's pretty subjective, because "sounding good" differs a lot from person to person. In your example, yeah...clean, un-distorted bass is considered to have good sound quality.

SQL is an informal one, pretty much saying it sounds good, but has the potential to get pretty loud.
