Noob seeking advice

I'm going back over there to have them relocate the power wire to the other side of the car. I pray they don't **** anything up. If I still have whine after that, what should I suspect? Ground loop from poorly installed ground? Gain too high? I really want the system to be done. It actually sounds pretty sweet aside from the whine.

Moving the power wire to the opposite side of the car from the ground cured 95% of the whine. If I really focus on it I can hear a very slight whine if I have the volume turned down to 0. I bet it will be eliminated when the Best Buy guy tunes my amp for me on Tuesday (for free).

It also might be because of where your ground is located, you should ask them if they can test the ground for you
