Noob seeking advice

Is there no way to get the speakers to fit? I got such an amazing deal on them. Plus going from 6x9 to 6.5 and 6.5 to 5.25 I am sure to lose low end frequency response.
If you do have 6x9s in the front doors the Polk 6x9s should fit. If it's a round speaker then you need the correct size and possibly new brackets.

I'm not an audio installer. I'd probably break something and then my door locks or window regulators won't work. Probably break some clips and not be able to get it to line up right again too.

Know any good installers in the Sacramento area?

steve meade.... look him up lol.

If you have a subwoofer it is your source of low frequency. What makes a good system sound good is isolation from speaker to speaker. Your sub will produce the lows, and you woofers will produce mids, and you tweeters will produce highs. You dont want your door speakers trying to make bass if you have a subwoofer. If they wont fit, find some quality speakers that will, and let your subwoofer do the work on the bass. Low frequencies are longer wave lengths so they take much more power and cone space to move the air enough to properly reproduce them. Idealy you want your door speakers making 0 bass, they can put much more clarity and force to the frequencies they are more suited to produce that way.

I think the door speakers have built in crossovers to prevent them from receiving inappropriate signals. Should I be getting wire run from the amp to the door speakers, or would I be better off running a 9 wire into the stock speaker wires?
