the cvt cone is pretty strong, its a hard plastic, cvr and comps use a more "flexible" plastic

Don't know a reason why I would be flamed besides not clarifying the topic a bit?

Im merely interested in why Kicker designed their 12" round grills with a sharp piece curved inwards towards the subwoofer which could possibly damage the CVT during high excursion or atleast create a loud annoying rattling sound.
