Newbie wire question

Okay... so me and my uncle are going to instal my system. He said just to buy everything we need to do it and then he will come down and help me put it in. This would be my first instal, and his 4th... So far what i have all ready bought is...

2 4ohm kicker L7s

ported box

1200 viper amp

stinger 4guage kit with : 18ft 4ga power wire

3ft 4ga ground wire

17ft 8ga turn on wire

fuse holder with 150amp fuse

dubble tab grounding terminal

10 7" black wire ties

butt conectors

platinum finish ring & spade termanials

snap-in plastic wire grommet

screws and lock washers

1in drywall screws for loading subs

.5in sheetmetal screws for screwing box down

L brackets

alpine 9833

dash kit

wire harness

what else do I need?

speaker wires for wiring the subs to 1 ohm?

17ft 8ga turn on wire ---- Why 8 ga??

Electrical tape if you arent going to solder.

Depending on the kind of fuse you'll prolly need an allen wrench crimp the power wire into the fuse holder.

lol first step, pick up about 20 feet of single strand 18g for the remote unless u just left out the 1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

next as far as speakerwire i would go with 12g or 14g... either will work good
