newbie wanting to learn.

i am very interested in learning a new hobby. i want to be able to build subs. i wound up with a set of mtx tens 8000 series that are blown. i an wondering if there is good book or manual out there that would teach me the basic understanding of subs and how to build them. lastly would those tens since i already have them be good candidates for a learning experience. thanks to any one that will help me. also i have a set of mint jl audio 6wo-8 that need new surrounds. should i star with those first?

Id start out by refoaming the 8 first and get that down, build some confidence and glue handling.

Youtube is your friend for perfornming recones. However rebuilding subwoofer s would require extensive knowlege of each voice coil, and magnet, got to have a perfect fit if you are mixmatching parts.
