Newbie: Wanting Opinion on Setup

Hey, I've always loved electronics and know my way pretty well around a computer but have very little concept of car electronics. So for the past month I've been trying to do some pretty heavy research on it and am wanting to have a full audio setup in my car. I've purchased everything except the 2nd (4ch) amp but none of it is installed yet. Basically this is what it's boiled down to (I included what I thought the most relevant specs on the parts would be):

2006 (8th gen) Honda Civic EX Sedan

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P7200HD

RMS Power Output 22 Watts x 4 Channels

Preamp RCA Outputs: 3 Pairs

Preamp Voltage: 4v

Front Speakers: Infinity Reference 6030cs Component

Power Handling, RMS: 75 Watts

Power Handling, Peak: 225 Watts

Impedance: 2 Ohms

Rear Speakers: Infinity Reference 6032si

Power Handling, RMS: 60 Watts

Power Handling, Peak: 180 Watts

Impedance: 2 Ohms

Subwoofers: Kicker C10 x 2

Power Handling, RMS: 150 Watts

Power Handling, Peak: 300 Watts

Impedance: 4 Ohms

Amplifier (1): Sony Xplod XM-GTR2022

Channels: 2

RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 202 Watts x 2 Channels

Totals RMS Power Output: 500 Watts

Total Peak Power Output: 1200 Watts

Amplifier (2): Hifonics HFi55.4

Channels: 4

RMS Power @ 2 Ohms: 110 watts x 4 Channels

Max Power Output: 440 watts

My main concern with the setup is the amps. I've read that I should try to keep the RMS ratings on the amps as close to the speakers as possible but with a little extra for headroom. I'm concerned that the Xplod might be a little too high for the subs and if necessary I'll sell the amp and get a new 2 ch. I also have a friend who's installed his own system before and offered to help but I'm a bit weary about tackling such a big job. Basically I'm just looking for input both about the system I have in mind and also tips regarding DIY installs or if I shell out for install how much it would cost approximately (So Cal area if that helps). Thanks in advance guys!

You could put a sundown 3500 on a walmart subwoofer, and not turn it into a paperweight, so long as you set the gains correctly.

Point being, you will be fine with an overpowered amp, its all about settings.
