newbie system build

I just got a scion tc and wanted to make full use of the car for a newbie system build. I currently have infinity reference comp speakers for the front and am getting a saz 2000d for a soundsplinter rl-p. For the hu I have a pioneer 4200ub. Any suggestions in general? I was thinking about getting 3-way speakers so any suggestions on those? The tc has a stock 3-way set in the front so I wanted to utilize it. Also any suggestions for a better hu that won't break the bank? Looking for a decent sq hu and speakers. Total price for them would be around $500 total. I'm not ready to yet, just looking to see what better options are out there.

and what do you mean 3 way set up? like a 3 individual drivers in different places or a speaker that is (3way) like this
