1st Build Suggestions Needed

Thanks in advance, New to the car audio world. This will be my first build. As far as a budget I don't really have one. I have a 94 single cab Ram 2500, going to do the following and need some opinions:

Sub(s) 10" or 12" will have about 1cu. ft. for each sub

Amp to drive subs and door speakers

Headunit Going to customize dash to accept double din

Box might have local shop fiberglass box or find somebody to design and build one

Sound Deadener going to deaden entire cab, doors and roof thinking Dynamat

Batteries

1 Sundown Sa-12 in 2.2cu ft box(my set up). port it and love life. You dont need two subs, one really good one with enough power and your gold.

Do you have room for two amps?

Are you putting in 2 or 4 speakers? You shouldnt stay stock with speakers. Some high end speakers is night and day with music.

Get a single din headunit. Double dins are always for show and have zero tuning ability.

Its not that hard to build a box if you have basic wood building skills, Someone on here might help you design a box for free or a Small fee. Start a thread, say what your dimensions to work with are. Ask for help designing box.

Sound deadener is good. Dynamat is extremely spendy. Try Secondskin instead.

You wont need extra batteries.

Big 3 is good for not stressing your system. Not exactly necessary till your doing bigger set ups.
