Need some suggestions with a few questions. Rite now I am using a Sundown audio E-series 12" sub woofer. I am using a cheap hifonics brutus amp. I am getting 900 watts to the sub "2ohm". The box is a little big for the back of my truck. I am going to be using a new box sometime. Now the real question I need is should I just stick with the E-series that I already have. Or should i purchase a Sa12. Now I would like to keep the amp as 2 ohm. The amp will handle 1200 watts on a 1 ohm load, but when i had 2 e-series I had them hooked up and my alternator could tell. I have the big 3 done. Rite now with 900 watts its perfect. Will a sa-12 sound better with 900 watts. Or would there not be any difference.

I had a stroke years back, so if my words sound odd, its from that .

Looking to purchase the sub soon, just hoping anyone could chime in on if the 900 watts will be ok or if i will have to buy a 2 ohm sub and wire it down to 1ohm "witch i don't want to do". Hoping 900 watts will be ok. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info guys. look likes I will buy an SA-12 and run it for a while with 900 watts. I am going to get the 4 ohm and wire it to 2ohm load. Then in a few months "3 or 4 " I will get a HO alternator and get another 4 ohm sub, then wire them to a new amp to 1 ohm load.

Thanks for your time.
