Just about any of the major name brands are good. Stay away from the "flea market" crap as 9 times out of 10, the wire gaugesThanks for the info guys I appreciate it. What brands are good for wiring kits?
honestly i dont pay more for 1 wire cuz it says kicker flex or w.e i dont buy wiring kits either, i buy a spool or have it cut off the spool for me (only thing i go into an audio shop for) i see wiring kits for like 100 bucks just 4 awg, its stupid, ive seen 30 ft spools on ebay for like 50 bucks and that was 1/0 but the cheapest way is bet a spool or whatever and get the connectors and everything from advance or napa, they wanted $9.50 for 2 4 awg terminals just cuz they said stinger on em...went to napa and bough sturdier solid terminals for 50 cents each. Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it. That would depend on the amp that you get. That's makes sense. With the 10" sub which is 300 rms, a 5 channel amp, and the 4 infinity speakers, what gauge wires would u recommend?
4ga should do just fine. I do believe that is what JL recommends for that amp.I'm lookin at a jl audio xd700/5?
for me if its over 600 and under 1200 total watts rms i just go for 4 awg not needed but i like to do a little overkill on wiring, too big wont really hurt if everything is fused correctly too small will. That's makes sense.
