So I think I'm going to end up getting CTX65CS up front and I already have a IDQ12 V3 D4. I was wondering if this could all be powered with 1 amp like the AQ 4X90.
Channels 1 and 2 would be used for 90x2 @ 4ohms for the comps and then hook up channels 3 and 4 to each VC of the Q for 120x2 @ 2ohms. So the sub should be seeing ~240 watts right?
Just wanting to make sure that it would be possible to run channels 1 and 2 at 1 impedance, and 3 and 4 at a different impedance. And would there be any drawbacks in doing this? Other than not pushing the sub towards its max rms.
Oh and this is only a temporary solution until I get enough funds to get a dedicated sub amp, then I can bridge the AQ for some nice headroom for my comps.
