Ok, looking for suggestions. going for a single 15" off 800-1000 watts. in trunk

Ive been outa the car audio game for about a year now. i was thinking of a Fi Q or SSD. but i dont know which amp to get. i thought hifonics made a 800 watt amp, they used to be my favorite company. but anyways this is going in the trunk of a hyundai elantra.

any other suggestions would be great. pretty much looking for a decent SQL system. i listen to a lot of rap so a single 15" would be ideal.

also what would be the best box setup in the trunk? subs up port back.

sub foward and port foward. then seal off the trunk with foam or pillows even. a good 15 is gonna be dc audio, fi (higher end line) re, atomic ect... theres a bunch of good 15s. whats ur budget?

im looking to spend about up to 250 on the amp, 300ish on the sub. im not looking for anything crazy.

by forward you mean facing towards the back seats? or having both face the back of the trunk.

toward the back seat. 300 would get you a dc level 4 15 probly. those subs are very efficient and get loud off about 1k rms. you could get a aq 1200 brand new for less than 250 also. would be a perfect matchup
