Newbie needs a bit of help

going to replace the entire stock Bose system in my 95 A6 sedan. Not going to spend a ton of money but I want it to sound good.

Heres what i have in mind so far.

one of the Alpine IPOD heads (probably the CDA-9883)

I already picked up an amp (ALPINE MRP-F240)

I have been looking at a couple different speakers. For the front, stock is 4" but I believe I can fit 5.25" into the doors. Looking at the INFINITY KAPPA 52.7i.

For the rear I need 6x9. Was looking at the Polk Audio DB690s.

I have plenty of electronics and mechanical experience, I just haven't spent alot of time working on audio systems. That being said, I noticed a couple of things about the speakers I am considering.

The Kappas are a 2 ohm speaker while the Polks are a 4ohm speaker. The amp has ratings for both impedances, will I be doing something wrong to go with those particular speakers with this amp? Should I just get 4 of the same imp rating?

I am not looking for a huge system nor anything competitive, I just want something that plays crisp and loud and will sound good playing led zep, NIN or something obsure like badly drawn boy.

Thanks for any help,

Rob
