newbie need help with SQ setup

hi all, new to this forum and have a few question about sq

my gears are

alpine cde 123

hertz dsk165

hertz dcx165

jl audio jx360/4

will be putting 1 dcon 10 in ported box and powering it with soundstream stealth 600.1 d

i am building the system slowly, first i got the hu and speakers. they sound pretty good. then i install the jx amp (1 channel each), but i dont really feel any difference in the quality.

should i bridge the amp just to run the front speaker and use the HU to run the back speaker to get a better quality?

excuse my noob language, any help will be appreciated

You could probably get better sound quality from the amp if you ran a crossover to eliminate the lower frequencies from getting to the coaxials.

you could also look into going active if your looking for better performance.

crossover means a capacitor?? can you explain further please? thanks i do have a HPF setting in my HU, if that's what u mean
